Why do we read?

We discussed the importance of the grammar mini-lessons we will be doing to improve our writing and editing. Today we reviewed how and why we use quotation marks. This will help us utilize quotes in our writing passages, and we'll apply this knowledge again soon.

We reviewed three types of literary nonfiction we are focusing on: autobiography, biography, and memoir.
We looked at strategies to analyze memoirs.
We began to read and analyze a selection from "Night" by Elie Wiesel.
